How It Works
The DIY-friendly flooring shop.
Most cash-and-carry runs look like this: you come in, tell Natasha what room you're redoing, and sketch it out on a scratch pad if you don't have measurements. She'll walk you along the wall to the samples that actually fit your use case — dogs, kids, basement humidity, mud-season mess — and pull a price. Once you pick, she does the waste math, pulls the right number of boxes or the right cut of carpet, and has it on the counter. You pay, load up, and install it on your schedule. No upsell to professional install unless you ask for one.
Here's why this matters: most flooring stores won't sell to DIYers without pushing full-service install. We will. Contractors, handymen, homeowners, landlords, side-hustle flippers — same showroom, same prices, same help from Natasha. If you want to install it yourself, we treat that as the normal case, not a workaround. And if halfway through your project the subfloor turns ugly or the stair nose gets weird, call us — Buddy can finish the part you don't want to.
What You Can Pick Up
Everything on the showroom floor is cash-and-carry.
If it's in stock, you can walk out with it. If it's special-order, we'll tell you the lead time before you commit. Four categories cover 95% of walk-in trips.
§ 01
Carpet rolls & pad
The most common walk-in by a mile. Bring your bedroom or basement dimensions, pick a carpet from the rack, grab pad that matches the carpet rating, and we'll cut the roll to your size. We'll also tell you whether you need tack strip, seam tape, and a knee kicker — not to sell you tools, just so you don't drive home and realize.
§ 02
LVT & laminate boxes
Waterproof luxury vinyl plank and laminate in click-lock formats that a confident DIYer can install over a weekend. We'll help you pick the right mil/wear-layer for your room (kids, dogs, basement) and pull boxes with enough waste factored in. Underlayment, transition strips, and spacers sold the same way.
§ 03
Hardwood & engineered wood
Solid hardwood and engineered plank from partners like Appalachian and Mullican. Acclimate it in the room for a few days before install — that's the single most common mistake we see on DIY hardwood jobs. Natasha will walk you through the humidity math for a central-Ohio house before you leave.
§ 04
Tile, transition strips & underlayment
Bathroom tile, kitchen floor tile, transition strips for where two flooring types meet, and all the underlayment and moisture barrier you need to do it right. For bigger tile jobs with custom cuts, bring a photo of the room — we'll tell you straight whether it's a DIY weekend or a call Buddy job.

Can I install flooring myself?
Yes. We're happy to quote the right quantity and pull the boxes — you handle the install. We sell to contractors, handymen, and DIY homeowners the same way. If you hit something mid-project (stairs, transitions, a sketchy subfloor), give us a call and Buddy can quote the finish or fix.
Do I need an appointment for cash-and-carry?
No appointment needed. Just walk in Monday through Friday, 9 AM–2 PM, at 55 W. High Street in London, OH. If you want Natasha to have product pulled before you arrive, call (614) 301-1958 and she'll have it on the counter.
Do I need to know the exact dimensions?
A rough sketch is fine — length and width of each room, plus any odd nooks. Natasha will do the waste math (typically 7–10% for LVT and laminate, up to 15% for diagonal or patterned installs) so you leave with the right quantity and don't make a second trip.
Can I return unopened boxes?
Yes — unopened cartons can be returned within 30 days with your receipt. Opened boxes or cut carpet rolls are non-returnable, which is why we take the time to quote the right quantity up front. Hold onto that receipt for warranty claims too.
